An initial step for the TCU YOU^TH Program was to conduct a needs assessment to clarify risk factors for area youth and to better determine professional development needs of our partner organizations.

Service Learning Opportunities

TCU YOU^TH Program community partners provide excellent service learning opportunities for TCU classes in a variety of disciplines. A sample of possible opportunities is listed below.  The TCU YOU^TH Program will happily work with you to identify opportunities that match specific classroom service learning with community organization needs.

Direct Service opportunities include:

• development of materials, web sites, videos, procedures manuals, job descriptions, etc.

Problem Solving opportunities include:

• designing training or orientation programs
