Overview: The TBA provides oversight for 57 congregations in north and central Texas and is the primary partner in the TCU Faith & Life program. Many of our TBA partner churches have served their Tarrant County area communities for more than 100 years. They are vested, and invested in their communities and provide trusted ways for us to penetrate the greater Tarrant County area with partner services. Through this partnership the TCU YOUTH Program is working extensively with Crossroads Youth Ministry of Parker County, founded by Central Christian Church in Weatherford. Crossroads provides an environment where high risk youth who live in a chaotic family atmosphere can experience a healthy family community - home, church and school;  and learn and practice healthy life skills.

Relationship with TCU: TCU has a historic covenant with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ.) Our relationship with the TBA includes these shared roots and a significant number of area church leaders and ministers who are graduates of TCU and Brite Divinity School. This relationship has been further strengthened since 2004 with the TBA's partnership in Faith & Life @ TCU.
